Cooking, storage & dietary notes
Use Australian cups (250 mL), tablespoons (20 mL) and teaspoons (5 mL). Times are estimates. Cook poultry and mince to at least 75°C internally, using a food thermometer. Keep raw meat separate from ready-to-eat food.
Cool leftovers quickly in shallow containers and refrigerate promptly at 5°C or below. Do not leave cooked rice at room temperature. Follow packet instructions and reheat leftovers thoroughly. Follow your individual care plan for freshness; freezing does not remove histamine already present.
ALPIMS is not a prescribed diet. Avoid restrictions you do not need. Seek a dietitian’s help if eating is difficult or your food list is becoming very limited.
