Move
Movement can support comfort, regulation, strength, circulation, alertness and everyday function — but the right amount and type of movement can look very different from person to person.
Use the tools below to explore movement that works with your body, symptoms and capacity rather than assuming that more is always better.

What fits?
Movement does not have to mean exercise
Movement can be stretching in bed, changing position, walking to the kitchen, rocking, gardening, swimming, dancing, doing household tasks, strengthening, playing, taking movement breaks or using movement to regulate. What is useful depends on the person, their body and their capacity that day.
More is not always better.
Pain, post-exertional symptoms, dizziness, injury, hypermobility,
illness and other health conditions can change what movement is appropriate.
The aim is to find movement that supports function without ignoring
important body signals.
