1️⃣ Anxiety Domain Care Plan

🔍 Focus: threat sensitivity, overwhelm, panic, worry loops
📌 Priorities: emotional safety, nervous system down-regulation, thought pattern support

✅ Strategies:

  • 🧘 Nervous system resets: paced breathing, somatic anchoring, weighted tools
  • 📚 Cognitive tools: CBT-style reframes, worry journaling, thought defusion
  • 🛏️ Environmental support: low-stimulation zones, clear rhythms, visual calendars
  • 🤝 Co-regulation: non-demand presence, safety scripts, “do nothing together” time

⚠️ Caution: Don’t push exposure therapy without regulation support; cognitive-only tools often fail when body is dysregulated.

📈 Track: panic triggers, daily tension level, safety cues that work


2️⃣ Laxity Domain Care Plan

🔍 Focus: joint instability, fatigue, autonomic dysregulation, poor proprioception
📌 Priorities: injury prevention, stamina preservation, supportive movement

✅ Strategies:

  • 🧍‍♀️ Physical supports: braces, compression, ergonomic aids, orthotics
  • 🚶 Gentle movement: physiotherapy, core strengthening, pacing exercises
  • 🛏️ Positional care: joint cushioning, sleep support, low-sink seating
  • 🔁 Postural rotation: shift often, reduce fixed positions

⚠️ Caution: Overstretching or unsupported hypermobility can worsen symptoms. Avoid high-impact or overcorrective regimens.

📈 Track: injury frequency, proprioception awareness, postural strain signs


3️⃣ Pain Domain Care Plan

🔍 Focus: chronic pain, tension, hyperalgesia, flare states
📌 Priorities: pain modulation, sensory buffering, pacing

✅ Strategies:

  • 🧖 Hot/cold therapy, TENS, magnesium soaks
  • 📦 Flare kit: topical creams, safe pain meds, gentle distractions
  • 🧠 Pain science education (e.g., Explain Pain) to reduce fear-pain loop

⚠️ Caution: Beware of pressure to “cheer up” or over-engage when dysregulated. Support recovery pace.

6️⃣ Sensory Domain Care Plan

🔍 Focus: overload, misophonia, visual snow, sound/light/smell triggers
📌 Priorities: sensory buffering, input management, predictable transitions

✅ Strategies:

  • 👂 Earplugs, sound filters, noise-cancelling headphones
  • 🕶️ Light-filtering glasses, screen dimming, soft lighting
  • 🧸 Safe sensory kits: fidgets, weighted items, soothing textures
  • 🧘 Nervous system co-regulation with body–environment alignment

⚠️ Caution: Sensory avoidance alone can increase sensitivity—use buffering, not just avoidance.
