The Curious Case of the Overfull Bucket

One of the most helpful ideas for me was the load and capacity bucket.

When too many stressors fill the bucket, symptoms tend to appear.

Reducing load where possible helped stop the bucket from overflowing quite so often.

Over time I also learned that increasing capacity — through rest, nutrition, pacing, and nervous system support — helped the bucket hold a little more.
